Marshall and I have been married for 7 years! We have a daughter named Libby. We dream of traveling, retireing early and adopting. We can't have anymore children, somedays that makes me sad. But I know there are ways around it. So that is where this story begins. In january of 2010 we found out that having anymore children of our own, was out of the question. So we prayed and prayed, and decided that adoption was the next step in life. We have been so blessed with the roller coaster that it has provided, and hope that the ride continues to be all we hoped it would be.

We have had the wonderful opportunity to spend the last 2 weeks back east.  We planned the trip around Marshall graduating and getting his masters degree.  We are so proud of him and all that he has done to get here!!! it has been a very intense few years as we worked straight through his bachelors and then his masters and completed both in 4 years.  The best part is that Libby won't remember Marshall spending countless hours studying and going to class.  I will but she won't.  Now we get to enjoy having him around more!  and we kicked it off with the longest vacation we have ever taken!!

so I will put up some highlights of our 2 week trip as best as I can!

Sorry no pictures!

I love this time of the year!  It is nice to have family around and opportunities to spend time together.

So I am going to take the time to list a few things that I am grateful for!

I am grateful for my wonderful husband Marshall.
I am grateful for our growing child Libby!
I am grateful for  my family
I am grateful for Marshall's Family.
I am grateful for the gospel and the truth and light it brings to our life.
I am grateful for wonderful friends that help me to always remember to enjoy life.
I am grateful for the talent I learned as a child to cook and bake(for all the wonderful yummy things I like to eat)
I am grateful for our house and all that we have inside that makes it a home!

these are a small list of the many things I am grateful for.  I hope that we can all remember the things that we are thankful for each day and not just at Thanksgiving.

lack of ambition

I have really been bad to not keep up with my blog.  not only this one but the other 3 I have have truly suffered.

We have been busy and loving life.

We took a family trip to St george to go see a wonderful play at the Tuachan.  the little mermaid was well worth the late night and long drive.

It really is a wonderful tradition that we have and I know will continue for many years to come!

With the fall season ahead of us we took libby for FHE to the Pumpkin patch to pick out pumpkins.

I had a Jewelry Both at a local farm fest and Libby and Marshall came to see me every day!  They had a pony ride and farm animal petting zoo.  Along with many other things for little kids to do.

We are prepping for halloween and have no clue what we are going to be.  But time will tell.

Grandma Camp

Marshall's mom has a tradition.  She puts on a Grandma Camp.

this camp comes around once a year and it is an overnight camp.

She has a theme, projects, adventures, water activity, movies, crafts, and food.  at the end of the 2 days they get to show off their adventures to their parents.

This year was NASA themed.

The kids were all Jr astronauts and had to make and name their space ship. they got to have a weightless experience at the mall.  they had to travel to another planet and meet an alien.  they ate space food and slept at the space station.

the kids love the camp and grandma has a great time too.  I love this traditon because it is something they will never forget.
