I love this time of the year! It is nice to have family around and opportunities to spend time together.
So I am going to take the time to list a few things that I am grateful for!
I am grateful for my wonderful husband Marshall.
I am grateful for our growing child Libby!
I am grateful for my family
I am grateful for Marshall's Family.
I am grateful for the gospel and the truth and light it brings to our life.
I am grateful for wonderful friends that help me to always remember to enjoy life.
I am grateful for the talent I learned as a child to cook and bake(for all the wonderful yummy things I like to eat)
I am grateful for our house and all that we have inside that makes it a home!
these are a small list of the many things I am grateful for. I hope that we can all remember the things that we are thankful for each day and not just at Thanksgiving.
Marshall and I have been married for 7 years! We have a daughter named Libby. We dream of traveling, retireing early and adopting. We can't have anymore children, somedays that makes me sad. But I know there are ways around it. So that is where this story begins. In january of 2010 we found out that having anymore children of our own, was out of the question. So we prayed and prayed, and decided that adoption was the next step in life. We have been so blessed with the roller coaster that it has provided, and hope that the ride continues to be all we hoped it would be.

lack of ambition
I have really been bad to not keep up with my blog. not only this one but the other 3 I have have truly suffered.
We have been busy and loving life.
We took a family trip to St george to go see a wonderful play at the Tuachan. the little mermaid was well worth the late night and long drive.
It really is a wonderful tradition that we have and I know will continue for many years to come!
I had a Jewelry Both at a local farm fest and Libby and Marshall came to see me every day! They had a pony ride and farm animal petting zoo. Along with many other things for little kids to do.
We are prepping for halloween and have no clue what we are going to be. But time will tell.

Grandma Camp
Marshall's mom has a tradition. She puts on a Grandma Camp.
She has a theme, projects, adventures, water activity, movies, crafts, and food. at the end of the 2 days they get to show off their adventures to their parents.
The kids were all Jr astronauts and had to make and name their space ship. they got to have a weightless experience at the mall. they had to travel to another planet and meet an alien. they ate space food and slept at the space station.
the kids love the camp and grandma has a great time too. I love this traditon because it is something they will never forget.

4th of July
We have our Traditions for the weekend of the fourth.
We go with Brittany's family to see the "stadium of fire" fireworks. We BBQ before hand and then go take our seats across from the hospital and watch the wonderful fireworks show.

usually the holiday is spent with Brittany's moms side of the family since they live close. Her aunt has 3 little girls one Libby's age and 2 a bit older. they found it lots of fun to make Marshall the Guinea pig.
The best is the look on Marshall's face through this whole experience. The Little girls laughed for the 2 hours we were there.
So the next day we got up and headed to church and then got packed up and took off to the family property to meet up with Marshall's family for Sunday dinner and camping.
We got up there and roasted marshmallows, took the 4 wheelers for a small ride. we played cards after kids went to bed. And got eaten alive by mosquito's. the weather was perfect for camping. over cast, cooler, and not hot. my kind of weather.

Our Very old (with a bathroom though) trailer, Britt, and Libby getting ready for our ride. Waiting for dad to get on so we can enjoy the nice weather. Libby really does look cute in her helmet.

Pictures from graduation
Graduation in May was really exciting in My family. Both my brothers and Marshall were set to graduate all together.
So here are the pictures.
Both my brothers graduated from the same school and these are pictures at their ceremony
Marshall made the choice to Not walk this time around, so we borrowed my brothers cap and gown for pictures sake. (because I wanted the pictures) He is planning to walk in 2013 with his masters degree. I will gets lots of pictures then. for now fake ones will do.

Vacation part 2
We spent the day at an indoor amusement park. We rode the train 3 times, the cars 4, the carousel 1, the balloons 1. We had a fun time and it was even more fun because it was free ( Libby was under 3).
the next day we went to Lake Louise and Rode a Gondola up the mountain to see the wonderful sites. I don't think it was as amazing as everyone says it is. I figure its because we see beautiful mountains on a daily basis at home. it made me ready for my mountains. We figured out that neither Marshall or I like heights, or circles very much on this vacation. I am glad we have a few more years before we are planning on taking a family vacation to Disney Land.
Our treat after the amusement park. It tasted so good!

Our First Big Family vacation
We have been planning and saving for this wonderful trip for 9 months. We really had a lot of fun. The Trip was mainly planned to see my grandma who is 91. But we got to see a ton of my cousins as a perk because she lives so far away. We drove way to much ate out way too many times, and spent way too many nights not sleeping. We did however truly enjoy our time that we spent together as a family and meeting up with all my family.
Here are a few of the pictures from our adventures.
Libby riding in the Car Brittany's Great Grandma, Brittany and Libby
Riding a horse all by herself. This was the highlight of the day!
Riding the carousel at Fort Edmonton Park. They Loved every minute of the ride!!!
Eating lunch at Pizza Hut. Libby Enjoyed the Pizza and time together.
Lunch at a restaurant. The kids menu came in a mask form.
We spent 20 min trading masks and laughing while we waited for our food.
